Publishing Rules
# X2 Social Publishing Rules
These Publishing Rules apply when you submit content for publication on X2 Social.
X2 Social is an anonymous video social application. The product is for adults aged 18 or older, but adult access does not make prohibited content permissible.
Publishing a Post requires separate affirmative consent to the applicable X2 Terms of Use and these Publishing Rules for that publication attempt.
## 1. Publication is not automatic
Selecting, uploading, processing, or submitting content does not guarantee that the content will be published.
A Post may become publicly available only after X2's applicable publication, processing, validation, safety, availability, and eligibility requirements have been satisfied.
A provider upload, processed video asset, playback resource, or other technical provider state does not by itself make a Post public on X2.
X2 may reject or prevent publication when a Post does not satisfy the applicable Publishing Rules or publication-safety requirements.
## 2. Pornography and explicit sexual material
Pornography and explicit sexual material are prohibited for publication.
X2 being an 18+ product does not permit pornography or other explicit sexual material that is prohibited by these Publishing Rules.
Content may be rejected or prevented from publication when it falls within an applicable prohibited sexual-content category.
## 3. Graphic violence
Graphic violence prohibited by the applicable X2 safety policy is not permitted for publication.
Content may be rejected or prevented from publication when it contains graphic violence or other violent material prohibited by the applicable Publishing Rules.
## 4. Hate, threats, and harassment
Content that violates applicable rules concerning hate, threats, harassment, or related prohibited abusive material is not permitted for publication.
X2 may reject or prevent publication of content that falls within those prohibited categories.
## 5. Prohibited illegal content
Content falling within prohibited illegal-content categories is not permitted for publication.
The exact legal treatment of content may depend on applicable law, jurisdiction, and the circumstances.
These Publishing Rules do not attempt to enumerate every jurisdiction-specific illegal-content category.
Where required, X2 may apply appropriate legal, safety, or operational procedures to prohibited or unlawful content.
## 6. Child sexual abuse material
Child sexual abuse material is categorically prohibited.
Suspected child sexual abuse material or comparable severe child-safety material may require specialized safety, legal, reporting, preservation, escalation, or removal procedures.
Nothing about X2's adult-access model permits child sexual abuse material or other prohibited child-safety content.
## 7. Spam and scams
Spam and scam content prohibited by the applicable safety policy is not permitted for publication.
This may include deceptive, fraudulent, repetitive, malicious, or scam-like content where it falls within the approved X2 safety policy.
Spam or scam controls are safety controls and do not create a customer profile or social identity.
## 8. Malicious or unsafe uploads
Uploads that are malicious, exploitative, dangerously corrupted, or otherwise unsafe for processing or public delivery must not publish.
X2 may reject malformed, unsupported, dangerous, unverifiable, or otherwise unsafe media where required by the applicable publication, compatibility, integrity, security, or safety controls.
Technical provider readiness is not proof that content complies with these Publishing Rules.
## 9. The complete Post must satisfy publication requirements
An X2 Post may contain more than one video.
The Post is the publication unit.
A required video passing processing or safety checks does not independently authorize that video, or the remainder of the Post, for public publication.
If a required part of the Post does not satisfy the applicable publication requirements, X2 may prevent publication of the whole Post.
## 10. Captions and Topic Tags
Publishing Rules and safety requirements apply to submitted text as well as video content.
Captions and Topic Tags may be rejected when they violate applicable Publishing Rules or safety policy.
Text may also be subject to applicable spam, scam, abuse, integrity, and normalization controls.
## 11. Separate publishing consent
Every publication attempt requires separate affirmative publishing consent to the applicable X2 Terms of Use and Publishing Rules.
Consent provided at application launch does not satisfy this publication-specific requirement.
Opening or reading the Terms of Use or Publishing Rules does not by itself grant publishing consent.
Publishing consent applies to the publication attempt and content snapshot to which that consent is attached.
## 12. Anonymous publication
X2's current product does not require a customer account, username, profile, password, follower relationship, or durable creator identity for ordinary anonymous Post publication.
Publishing a Post does not create a poster-owned account or durable creator identity for that Post.
Internal workflow, upload, provider, retry, or technical identifiers must not be treated as ordinary customer proof of Post ownership.
## 13. Publication may be irreversible for the poster
After successful publication, the current X2 product does not provide the poster with an ordinary customer-owned edit control, delete control, or ownership-recovery control for the published Post.
You should therefore review your content carefully before publishing.
Treat publication as an important and potentially irreversible decision.
X2's absence of ordinary poster-owned edit or delete controls does not prevent X2 from exercising separately authorized safety, legal, copyright, security, infrastructure, or prohibited-content removal authority.
## 14. Reporting and post-publication safety
Pre-publication safety controls cannot be assumed to identify every prohibited item.
Published Posts may therefore remain subject to reporting, safety review, post-publication safety re-evaluation, and warranted exceptional removal procedures.
A user report is safety or operational evidence. A report does not by itself automatically remove a Post globally.
X2 may remove or make content unavailable where warranted by approved safety, legal, copyright, prohibited-content, child-safety, malware, security, or equivalent authority.
## 15. Safety systems and protected internals
X2 may use automated, provider-assisted, server-side, or manual safety processes as part of publication review and later safety operations.
Internal classifier scores, thresholds, provider configuration, safety evidence, moderation logic, credentials, and protected operational information are not ordinary public Post information.
These Publishing Rules describe user-facing publication requirements and do not disclose protected enforcement internals.
## 16. No creator strike profile implied
Publication rejection, safety processing, reporting, or later safety action does not by itself create a customer account, durable creator identity, follower restriction, creator reputation profile, or hidden ownership model.
Infrastructure abuse and security controls may be applied where separately authorized, but they must not silently redefine X2's anonymous product architecture.
## 17. Changes to these Publishing Rules
X2 may update these Publishing Rules when its product, safety requirements, providers, legal obligations, or operating arrangements change.
A later publication attempt may therefore be governed by a later applicable Publishing Rules version.
Each publication attempt must use the applicable server-authoritative legal and Publishing Rules version identifiers required by the publication workflow.
## 18. Legal and safety review
These Publishing Rules describe the current X2 product architecture and currently approved publication-safety boundaries.
Final production wording remains subject to applicable legal, child-safety, platform, store, provider, and operational review before release.
Nothing in these Publishing Rules limits obligations that X2 must follow under applicable law.
